Specialista Senior / Project Manager

As a Software Engineer at ARAG, you will design, develop, and integrate software for precision agriculture products that interact with hardware and mechanical systems. You’ll work across software, hardware, and user interfaces to ensure functionality meets customer needs, product goals, and quality standards. The role emphasizes system integration, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You’ll contribute to innovative solutions that advance sustainable farming, with opportunities to shape software architecture and product evolution.

- Analyze requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and system functionalities
- Integrate software with hardware, electronics, and mechanical parts to ensure full product operation
- Write clean, maintainable code and document it appropriately
- Enhance existing software to add features and improve performance/usability
- Contribute to software architecture, detailed programming, debugging, and system design
- Support testing, validation, deployment, and maintenance activities
- Identify and fix programming errors and technical issues
- Collaborate with R&D;, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Testing
- Apply best practices in coding,



version control, builds, and testing
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality, efficiency, reliability, and UX
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to software activities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
- Experience in software development, systems development engineering, embedded software, or equivalent roles
- English level B2 or higher;
additional languages are a plus
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with software testing, debugging, validation, and deployment processes
- Knowledge of source control tools and software configuration management
- Awareness of Agile, CI/CD, automated testing tools, test management systems, databases, IoT, cloud platforms, communication protocols, or embedded systems is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
proactive and curious mindset
- Good communication and teamwork abilities;
ability to manage multiple priorities
