Purpose of the position: As Commissioning and Maintenance Production Superintendent, you will be part of the Commissioning Department of Business Line Energy Carriers within the Bioraffineria project based in Livorno

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the process plant, promoting compliance with Company QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems while maintaining high operational standards.
- Manage work permits, isolations, and process safety controls, ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with risk assessments, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
- Lead commissioning, start-up, and operational activities, coordinating personnel, vendors, licensors, and contractors to achieve project and production objectives safely and effectively.
- Develop and manage production personnel, including shift planning, training, competency assessment, performance management,
and continuous development of operations teams.
- Drive plant performance and operational excellence, overseeing maintenance coordination, production procedures, laboratory activities, safety reviews (HAZOP/PSSR), reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant lifecycle.
What are we looking for?
Education: Technical Diploma / Degree in Engineering field
Experience: Relevant experience as Commissioning and Maintenance Production Superintendent.
Languages: English Knowledge Level B2
Technical Skills:
- Commissioning Engineering & Execution: Strong experience in commissioning design review, commissioning planning, procedures development, system breakdown definition, HSE compliance, technical bid evaluation, and commissioning control/documentation management.
- Plant Start-up & Operations Management: Proven expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and plant operations, including development of operating procedures, maintenance strategies, reporting systems, plant performance monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
- Technical Documentation & Process Safety: Skilled in reviewing and interpreting engineering documentation (P&IDs;, isometrics, layouts, procedures), supporting HAZOP studies, operator training programs,
and identifying technical issues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
IT Skills: MS Office, SAP, Primavera P6
What can we offer to you:
- Fixed term Contract – CCNL Energia e Petrolio
- For home office contract: Pay not lower than € 43.000,00
- Location: Livorno, Italy
