In this role, you will partner with the VP to steer the Central R&D; organization, translating strategy into measurable objectives and ensuring execution across design, process, and product. You will align R&D; priorities with MDRF and company goals, driving cross-functional collaboration and governance. The position focuses on improving predictability, delivery, and KPI tracking for complex, global programs. This leadership role offers impact by shaping long-term technology roadmaps and scaling R&D; operations to accelerate innovation. You will communicate with senior leadership and influence decisions that advance the company's technology and product strategy.

Define and operationalize long-term technology roadmaps with technologist leaders
Drive execution of strategic initiatives across design, process, and product
Track critical R&D; milestones and report progress
Monitor progress, risks, gaps, and opportunities; prepare leadership materials
Act as central coordination point across R&D;, product lines, and corporate functions
Ensure alignment between central design teams and divisions
Facilitate decision-making across distributed teams




Establish operating cadence and monitor R&D; performance indicators
Develop executive narratives and governance materials
Support organizational design, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives
Lead strategic initiatives such as site expansions and post-merger integrations
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration
Provide leadership support and confidential, autonomous operations
Responsabilità
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or related field
15+ years of experience in semiconductor R&D;, engineering leadership, or technology strategy
Experience leading complex programs in a global, matrix organization
Strong understanding of end-to-end semiconductor lifecycle: design, tape-out, manufacturing, test, yield ramp
Experience with technology nodes, chip architecture, or system-level design
Track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements
Data-driven decision-making and KPI tracking
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Leadership experience in cross-functional alignment and governance
