We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Turner with proven experience operating Mazak QT-MSY multi-tasking lathes to support the manufacture of precision Formula 1 components in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Mazak QT-MSY lathes, including working with Y-axis, live tooling, and sub-spindle capabilities. You will produce complex, low-volume components using a range of materials such as titanium, aluminium alloys, stainless steel, and other exotic materials commonly used in high-performance applications.
The ability to work to extremely tight tolerances, typically ±0.01 mm or better, is essential.
You will be required to interpret detailed engineering drawings and carry out in-process inspections to ensure all components meet exact specifications. The role also involves supporting rapid development cycles and meeting race-critical production deadlines,
where efficiency and precision are equally important.
To be successful in this position, you must have strong hands-on experience with Mazak QT-MSY machines and a solid understanding of Mazatrol and ISO (G-code) programming.
Previous experience in motorsport, aerospace, or another high-precision engineering environment is highly desirable. You should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of maintaining high standards while working under pressure.
