Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Jesi.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support Next’s AI-driven platforms and industrial applications, including products such as IMPROVE, MyHydra, and Proled. Daily activities include implementing back-end services, writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.



The role also involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring code quality through reviews and documentation.

The Software

Engineer will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that meet client and project objectives.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.

Experience in Back-End Development, including RESTful services, APIs, and database integration.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in modern languages.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Familiarity with AI-related technologies or interest in working with Artificial Intelligence–driven solutions.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to work on-site in Jesi, collaborate in a team environment, and communicate clearly in a professional setting.

Knowledge of software testing practices, debugging tools, and performance optimization techniques.

Experience with industrial, manufacturing, or energy sector software solutions is a plus.
