YOUR ROLE At Palo IT,Forward Deployed Engineers are expected to be AI-Native by default and act as technical authorities for their teams and projects. As a Forward Deployed Engineer , you will own the technical direction andproject executionfor engineering teams while actively embedding AI and Generative AI into how teams work by default. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, providing full-stackexpertise,establishingbest practices, and ensuring delivery excellence. Working closely with clients, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will shepherd technical decision-making and provide thought-leadership through both traditional development practices and AI-augmented workflows. You will apply Palo IT's Gen-E2methodology to drive quality, speed, and responsible AI adoption across projects and teams. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership Own the technical direction and roadmap for engineering projects. Provide full-stackexpertise to the engineering team andestablishbest practices on code quality and performance. Shepherd technical decision-makingprocess andprovidethought-leadership.



Provide architecture-level and code-level feedback for the engineering team. Build confidence in project delivery through automated testing, continuous integration,monitoringand analytics. Monitor project progress anddeliveryquality across teams. Ensure timelines, outcomes, and engineering standards are met. AI-Native & Gen-E2 Leadership (Core Expectation) Champion AI-Native ways of working across the team, including AI-assisted development, testing, and documentation. Define and enforce AI/GenAI best practices , including: Prompt and context engineering standards Output validation, guardrails, and fallback strategies Code review standards for AI-generated code Stay current with emerging GenAI trends and tools and translate them into practical, value-driven implementations. Act as a technical authority and coach on Gen-E2 practices andresponsibleAI/GenAI adoption. People Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality code and projects. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and career development planning for team members. Manage performance through clear goalsetting, regular feedback and reviews, and identification of growth opportunities. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and learning-driven culture . Recruit and build high-performing engineering teams. Consulting, Clients & Growth Collaborate with clients to understand business problems, design solutions, and lead implementation. Partner with Sales and Presales teams to shape proposals, solution approaches, and contribute to technical responses and estimations. Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks to scale delivery efficiency. Support Palo IT thought leadership through research, experimentation, and publication. Must-Have Experience 10+ years of hands-on software developmentexperience includingrecent experiencein client and team management . Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams . Deep technologicalexpertisein fullstackdevelopment .Preferred technologies include ReactJS for frontend development and NodeJS/Java/Python for backend development. Experience in developing scalable, reliable, and secure applications . Experience with solution architecture . Strong understanding of common programming patterns and principles . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills . Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering work (not just theoretical exposure). AI-Native & Gen-E2 Skills (Required) Hands-on, daily use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor or equivalent).



Strong grasp of prompt and context engineering for engineering workflows. Proven experience defining and enforcing GenAI best practices across teams. Ability to coach and mentor teams on effective and responsible AI tool usage. Critical thinking tovalidateand verify AI-generated code and solutions. Good to Have Experience with any emerging technologies (DecentralisedIdentity, Realtime-cross border payment, Quantum computing, Advanced Smart Contract etc..). Experience with AI/ML services and frameworks . Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Mobile development experience (Swift for iOS, Android, native or hybrid).
