Freelance AI Engineer (Italian Speaking) | Fully Remote | 6-Month Contract + Extension

Location: Fully Remote (Italy)
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 6 months initial contract with strong possibility of extension
Daily Rate: Negotiable

We're partnering with a leading European technology consultancy that delivers innovative digital transformation, cloud, AI and software engineering solutions for enterprise clients across a range of industries. They are looking to strengthen their AI capability by bringing on board an experienced AI Engineer to support a high-profile project.

Key Requirements:
3+ years' commercial experience as an AI Engineer
Strong expertise in AI Agents and Generative AI (GenAI)
Experience designing and developing microservices architectures
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
Advanced Python development skills
Experience with API development and integration
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science , Artificial Intelligence , or a related field
