In this NPI Buyer role, you enable successful product launches by steering procurement across the development lifecycle. You'll collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to optimize cost, select suppliers, manage risks, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery of new products. You'll coordinate tooling and component sourcing while monitoring timing, costs, and supplier performance.

Manage procurement activities for new product development and industrialization projects

Support supplier sourcing, RFQs, and commercial negotiations

Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams throughout project execution

Drive supplier selection and evaluate sourcing options based on cost, quality, and project requirements

Coordinate tooling, equipment, and component procurement activities

Monitor project timing, costs, risks, and supplier performance to support launches

Conduct market research and identify opportunities for cost improvement and supply optimization





Lead supplier reviews and risk assessments to ensure project readiness

Support value engineering and cost reduction initiatives during product development

Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Contribute to process improvements and share best practices across the team

Ensure smooth handover of projects into serial production and ongoing commodity management

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Operations, or a related field

Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or project management environments

Experience within an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment is preferred

Ability to manage xkiyazw multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Experience working with cross-functional and international teams

Negotiation and supplier management experience

Technical understanding of manufacturing and production processes is an advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred
