Automotive Design Project Manager

Location: Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

- Be the organizing link between the Chinese clients and the MARC Milan design team. Actively participate in all stages of the process while upholding the timeline, managing deadlines and inputs from partners.
- Help translate and share complex technical and cultural information.
- Willingness to understand the design activities, working from initial concepts through to production‑ready designs, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Bring strong team enthusiasm and a curious mindset, focusing on establishing a seamless process through well‑defined deadlines and collaboration.
- Assist in communicating and presenting internal design concepts effectively, ensuring clear and consistent understanding.
- Develop a solid knowledge of the Chinese automotive market.
- Travel to China or other project‑related locations a few times per year to support projects, conduct benchmarking, and engage with the HQ design team.

Required Skills

- Solid background in project management, preferably within automotive design.
- Deep understanding of China and Chinese culture.




- Strong proactive mindset.
- Deep interest in car design.
- Willingness to help with translation between English and Chinese.
- Interest in strategic thinking.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player who can also work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.

We offer a gross annual salary typically ranging from €50,000 to €60,000 determined according to objective criteria such as professional experience, competencies, and seniority. The applicable collective bargaining agreement is the CCNL Telecommunications, within level 6°.
