Job Description

DXC Technology is looking for a Database administrator to join the Cloud&Infrastructure; practice in our Italian team.

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in operational management and performance tuning of databases.
- Strong skills in backup/restore strategies and service continuity support.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams for application integration.
- Team player mindset and ability to manage tasks independently.

Skills

- Oracle (Standalone and RAC)
- Microsoft SQL Server (Standalone and Always On)
- MySQL Server (Standalone and Always On)
- PostgreSQL (Standalone and Cluster)
- MongoDB (Standalone and Replica Set)

Location: Rome with smart working possibility

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €46,000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l’industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
