VF Corporation is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team based in Milan.

Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Local Finance Manager and work closely with both the Central Finance team and our Shared Service Center. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting the continuous improvement of accounting processes in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and review monthly financial reporting and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities
- Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors and external consultants
- Manage VAT returns (monthly and annual) and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Prepare Intrastat declarations and support tax calculations
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and monitor tax deadlines
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting activities
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls

Skills & Qualifications

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational environment




- Strong knowledge of Italian and US GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes)
- Solid experience in financial reporting and audit processes, good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Hiring Range

€40,656.00 - €50,820.00 per annum
