About the role

Our fast‑growing team in Italy is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist specializing in Italian payroll. The role involves operational processing of payrolls and collaboration with our global payroll operations teams.

Main responsibilities

- Process multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently.
- Analyze payroll‑related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
- Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers between Project Delivery and Operations.
- Support parallel runs and testing of new requirements.
- Reconcile pre‑processing reports to ensure data accuracy before processing payroll.
- Research payroll discrepancies and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
- Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries in line with client SLA and expectations.
- Maintain payroll information, files and records to provide up‑to‑date reference and audit trail for compliance.




- Assist in validating payroll requirements to ensure sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set‑up and configuration.

Experience needed for this role

- Strong experience in payroll processing; Italian payroll experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Italian legal requirements, statutory forms and reporting.
- Experience with payroll software and MS Office (Excel, Word). Experience with Zucchetti is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills to meet deadlines.
- Forward‑thinking, able to plan and organize own workload.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
