System Administrator – Linux OS Expert

System Administrator with Linux experience to join a new project in the defense sector at TXT e-Tech.
The selected candidate will work within a structured team, managing and maintaining a Linux-based IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and performance of physical and virtual servers.
Responsibilities
- Management, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems
- Software installation and updates
- User, permissions and services management
- Monitoring of system processes and performance
- Security patching and system hardening activities
- Automation of tasks through scripting (bash)
- Support in change management activities
Required Technical Skills
- Solid experience in Linux System Administration
- Network configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of main communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, RS232/422, 1553)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles (encryption, OS hardening, Common Criteria)
- Experience with Change Management tools (Git, CVS, IBM RTC, DOORS)
- Experience in developing and implementing Cyber solutions on Linux systems
- Knowledge of bash scripting

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM disciplines.

- The expected salary for this position is between €38,000 and €45,000 gross per year
- The classification will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement
