Job Summary
Stage (6‑month internship) in Modelli e Metriche ESG at SACE, in Rome. The role supports the team in developing innovative models, tools and metrics to measure the economic, environmental and social impact of SACE’s activities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, strengthening and management of models, calculation tools and metrics for measuring the economic, environmental and social impact of the Group’s business operations.
- Apply the additional impact calculation process to commercial opportunities and monitor the results.
- Maintain and support the development of the team’s databases and archives.
- Collaborate with various company structures in collecting, validating and interpreting ESG data.
- Participate in the development of a platform to integrate impact measurement into hiring processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree (completed or in progress) in economics, statistics, engineering, data science or related fields.
- Strong interest and knowledge of sustainability, ESG metrics and impact measurement frameworks.
- Ability to work with data, metrics and KPIs, re‑formulate them into structured outputs and present them effectively for internal reporting (good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint required).
- Analytical, data‑driven approach to complex data, identifying trends and insights.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools: Excel, Power BI, SAS, Python, Stata.
- Excellent command of English.
- Result‑oriented, quality focused, with attention to data accuracy and reliability.
- Team player, able to collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with different business units.
- Proactive, with good relational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in export credit, development finance or impact investing.
- Experience in economic model development and ESG valuation or M&E; tool application.
- Experience managing and developing datasets and dashboards.
