Safilo is among the most important players in the eyewear market for design, production and distribution of sunglasses, prescription frames, sports glasses, helmets and goggles. Who We Are Looking For
We are currently looking for a brilliant and motivated intern to join our Marketing team at the Padova HQ . The internship will last 6 months and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the eyewear industry and a comprehensive overview of the work carried out by the Brand Management – Licensed Brands team .
As Brand Management Intern, You Will Gain Experience In
- quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales data and related reporting;
- market analysis, product positioning, and competitor analysis;
- managing the development of collections in collaboration with the Product Development, R&D;, and Design departments (e.g. preparing briefs for new collections, creating presentations for new product launches, etc.);
- developing tools to support the sales force for both sell-in and sell-out activities;
- developing trade marketing materials to support the launch of new collections;
- collecting qualitative and quantitative feedback from subsidiaries regarding distribution strategies and product potential;
- managing relationships with license partners and suppliers (e.g. marketing agencies).
You Are The Person We Are Looking For If
- You are about to graduate or already hold a degree in Economics or a related field, preferably complemented by a Master’s in Marketing Management
- You have an excellent command of English
- You have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are proactive and flexible
- You are able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You enjoy working in a team
- You have a passion for the accessories and fashion industry
