Experteer Overview

In this role you oversee end-to-end branch accounting and tax activities, acting as the primary financial liaison for Finance HQ, Tax, and local operations. You will contribute to international VAT matters and drive improvements in financial controls and processes within a multinational setting. The position offers exposure to SAP configurations and cross-functional collaboration with IT and shared services. You will support audits, month-end, and year-end closures, shaping efficient financial workflows for the branch. This is a chance to contribute to Prysmian’s sustainable, global growth by strengthening governance and compliance.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Oversee end-to-end branch accounting activities
- Control and record invoices with correct VAT details for multi-branch configurations
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations; manage balance sheet controls
- Support month-/quarter-/year-end closing with HQ Administration
- Manage intra-branch and intra-EU goods flow documentation (shipping docs, CMR)




- Act as first-line owner of local tax compliance and VAT returns
- Prepare Intrastat declarations and monitor regulatory deadlines
- Coordinate SAP configurations for branch accounting and tax processes with IT/Shared Services
- Coordinate information flow between local operations and finance
- Oversee payment processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze periodic financial and tax reporting for Administration and Tax
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements

Responsabilità

- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of accounting or tax experience in multinational environments or Big Four
- Solid SAP knowledge
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good command of written and spoken English
