Experteer Overview

In this role you will drive the design, implementation, and operation of backend services within a cross-functional Rewards team. You will work closely with product managers to translate user needs into scalable solutions, mentor colleagues, and help shape engineering practices. You’ll tackle complex business logic in an event-driven, cloud-based environment and contribute to a platform used by advertisers and publishers. This is a hands‑on, impact-focused opportunity at the core of a dynamic affiliate marketing ecosystem.

- Lead technical discussions and help set engineering priorities
- Improve existing applications and build new solutions from scratch
- Contribute to code reviews, planning, retrospectives and team ceremonies
- Shape development technologies, standards, and engineering practices
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate user stories into designs and tasks
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolutions
- Engage with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across locales

Responsabilità





- At least 6 years of hands‑on Java experience in commercial software roles
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and clean, maintainable code
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong Git experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging/streaming technologies
- Relational database concepts and strong SQL skills
- Experience with DynamoDB or MongoDB (non-relational databases)
- Experience designing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
- Experience in cross‑functional teams and Agile (Scrum) environments
- Knowledge of TDD or BDD practices
- Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code
- Interest in AI tools to augment development
- Willingness to work with more than one programming language
