Experteer OverviewIn this role, you will advance perception for robotics, computer vision, and physical AI within the AI Robotics team. You will design, implement, and optimize AI/ML algorithms and deploy CV systems for robotic inspection, maintenance, and defect detection in energy applications. You’ll integrate physical AI and smart robotics into energy systems to boost efficiency and safety, including sensor creation and data gathering. You will collaborate across functions to deploy solutions at customer sites and explore new technologies to stay ahead in the energy transformation space.

Responsibilities

- MSc in computer science or related field with AI focus
- 1+ year experience in AI, computer vision, generative models, and perception as applied to robotics
- Experience collaborating with academia and SMEs
- Knowledge across computer vision, ML, and robotics
- Experience with state-of-the-art deep learning models and pipelines
- Experience handling data from various sensors
- Experience integrating sensors on robotic platforms including quadruped robots
- Willingness to travel for deployments and presenting results at conferences
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++, and familiarity with ROS
- Knowledge of software development and DevOps (MLOps, CI/CD, GitHub) and containerisation
