Join our dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of high‑voltage systems and substation automation! Imagine developing, reviewing, and maintaining engineering deliverables such as schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or EBASE. You will lead technical project management efforts, ensuring that all activities align with project scope, timelines, and budgets. As you support end‑to‑end project delivery, you will resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution. Your expertise will shine as you coordinate with stakeholders, engage in technical discussions, and provide on‑site support during commissioning.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering deliverables, including schematics and system designs using EPLAN, EBASE, or equivalent tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and track technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Support end‑to‑end project delivery, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth execution from engineering through installation and commissioning.
- Act as the key interface between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers, ensuring clear communication and effective progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and manage revisions in line with customer requirements and project changes, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy quality standards and safety protocols.
What You Bring
- Academic background in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
- Previous working experience (5 to 10 years)
in a technical department with strong understanding of switchgear monitoring systems (HVC, GDM, PDM) and substation environments.
- Proficiency in English and Italian, written and spoken.
- Clear and professional communication, engaging effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Availability to work on site for commissioning and FAT around 40/50% of your time, depending on project schedule. Projects are in all Italian regions, islands included.
Nice to have
- Hands‑on experience with EPLAN, EBASE, or similar tools, with the ability to develop and interpret electrical drawings.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate engineering activities and manage technical interfaces effectively.
- Exposure to the installation and commissioning of grid/substation systems.
- Knowledge of IEC61850 standards.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between €40,000 and €60,000 gross per year. Salary ranges are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation and are based on the Italian labour market. Compensation may vary depending on location and other factors.
