Location: Monfalcone, Italy.

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is looking for a Monfalcone Site Health and Safety Manager. The role involves managing the definition and updating of Site Health and Safety rules, ensuring alignment with Westinghouse direction and Italian national laws, increasing safety awareness among supervisors and plant employees, and leading safety engineers (RSPP, ASPP). The manager reports to the Site Leader and will manage a team of 2; this is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct leadership to the team of safety engineers to ensure rules are clear, understood, and updated.
- Perform daily shop walkdowns to assure safety rules are respected.
- Provide direction to the on‑site leaders and managers on safety rules.
- Collect suggestions on safety improvements from workers and supervisors.
- Act as the central connection point between the site and corporate functions regarding health and safety.
- Represent the Italian legal entity before the Italian administration.
- Review investments and contracts to ensure they follow applicable procedures.




- Maintain emergency and safety procedures and ensure everyone is trained.
- Ensure appointments for safety‑related or emergency situations are clearly identified.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of operations, RSPP, or safety experience in workshops.
- Experience leading safety programs.
- Execution leadership experience.
- Cross‑functional coordination skills.
- Intermediate English competency at B1 level.

Annual base salary: €59,000 to €75,100 per year.
