Experteer Overview In this role you will lead a culture of continuous growth across Mandarin Oriental, Rome, shaping learning, performance and talent development to elevate guest experiences. You will partner with leaders to identify talent, build succession pipelines and deliver engaging development programs for all levels. You’ll design and implement onboarding, leadership development and services training that align with the hotel’s luxury standards. This position offers a chance to influence culture, capability and operational excellence from pre‑opening through ongoing growth.
Retribuzione / Benefits Champion a culture of learning and excellence by embedding the brand vision and service philosophy across the hotel
Design and deliver a comprehensive L&D; strategy for pre/post-opening aligned with business priorities
Identify talent needs with senior leaders and support succession planning and career development
Create innovative learning experiences (onboarding, leadership development, digital learning, functional training)
Facilitate workshops and development programs for staff and leadership
Lead annual learning needs analysis and translate insights into actionable plans
Coach leaders and colleagues to support growth and high‑performing teams
Develop and mentor a network of Departmental Trainers to foster a learning culture
Monitor learning effectiveness via data, feedback and performance outcomes, provide insights to leadership
Manage learning calendar, resources and systems,

Collaborate with external providers and corporate teams to bring best‑in‑class development opportunities
Support flagship talent programs, leadership retreats and global learning projects across MO portfolio
Contribute to quality assurance, sustainability and health & safety through learning initiatives
Act as a trusted People & Culture partner to support engagement, wellbeing and organizational development
Support wider colleague engagement and wellbeing initiatives
Responsabilità Proven track record in L&D; management within luxury hospitality or high‑end service environments
Strong facilitation and presentation skills for training delivery
Proficient in digital learning and HR systems
Strong background in talent management and organizational development
Experience managing multi‑cultural teams and navigating diverse labour markets
Demonstrated success in employee engagement, retention strategies and culture transformation
Solid understanding of hospitality operations and how L&D; impacts guest experience
Proven ability to lead L&D; programs tailored to luxury service standards
