Overview
In this role you will support and optimize automated test equipment across the Remanufacturing team in Tilburg to improve uptime, reliability, and FPY. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets, deploy new test systems, and provide post-deployment support. This position sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and data analysis in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You help shape scalable test capabilities for battery packs, drive units, and energy systems, delivering measurable impact on manufacturing quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Improve tester uptime, hardware reliability, software stability, cycle time, and first pass yield (FPY).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, Quality, and Maintenance Engineering to meet equipment performance targets and troubleshoot gaps.
- Perform pre-deployment data analysis and VOC feedback to anticipate post-deployment challenges.
- Develop, validate,
and commission manufacturing test systems with thorough documentation and smooth handover to production.
- Provide post-deployment support including root-cause analysis and corrective actions for test system failures.
- Support debugging, qualification, and ramp-up activities for new or updated manufacturing lines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage test systems, automation equipment, industrial sensors, and data acquisition systems
- Proficiency in NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and Python
- Working knowledge of CAN bus protocols and ability to analyze communication traces
- Experience in interpreting test data to drive engineering decisions
- Electrical schematic design is a plus
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands
