Join Sofidel’s Corporate Data Platform as a Data Platform Engineer to design and run data integration pipelines that power reporting, analytics, and AI. You’ll integrate data from ERP, factory systems, and more, ensuring quality, security, and availability for cross‑functional stakeholders. You will collaborate with IT, business, and Data/AI teams to evolve scalable data architectures and governance. This role offers hands‑on impact in a multinational, sustainability‑driven group and opportunities to grow technically and professionally. You’ll help shape a robust data backbone that enables smarter decisions across the business.

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple sources (ERP, databases, factory systems, files, APIs)
- Integrate data across sources to enable reporting, analytics, and AI solutions
- Develop and maintain data models and structures supporting analytics and AI
- Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and availability across the data ecosystem
- Monitor data workflows and resolve performance issues, failures, and inconsistencies
- Support the Data Platform and data services for the Agent Platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and Data/AI specialists to deliver solutions
- Implement data governance, security,
and best practices
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and development standards
- Contribute to the evolution and scalability of data architecture and platforms
Responsabilità
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration
- Knowledge of data modeling and modern data architectures (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouses)
- Experience with data engineering tools/frameworks such as Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, Parquet, Airflow
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and related data services
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices
- Experience in monitoring data processes, data quality, logging, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of data governance, data security, and access management
- Very good written and spoken English; good Italian
