Overview
Experteer Overview As a Sales Engineer at Proofpoint, you will act as the technical trusted advisor for Commercial accounts, shaping People-Centric security solutions across Proofpoint’s portfolio. You’ll work with Account Managers and Channel Partners to craft compelling demonstrations and proofs-of-concept that illustrate real-world protection against cyber threats. Your efforts will influence product direction through customer insights and cross-functional collaboration. This is a fast-paced, impact-driven role with a clear focus on threat protection, data security, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Proven hands-on experience as Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support in cybersecurity
- Experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity desirable
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in Italian and business-level English; additional languages are a plus
- Exposure to at least two of the following areas: Enterprise email solutions (Exchange, O365, G-Suite, Lotus Domino) or SMTP; IT security areas (Vulnerability/Risk Management, Security Operations/Incident Response); DLP/compliance/data privacy; Cloud security and shadow IT monitoring; Cloud computing (AWS/Azure)
