Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead technical design within OSS, shaping strategic roadmaps and delivering development enhancements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and sustainable. You will evaluate new technologies, run lab tests and PoCs, and guide third-party deliveries to meet deadlines and budgets. You will provide leadership across teams, produce IT specifications and input for business cases, and support live deployments. This role offers impact within a global telco focused on sustainable connectivity and inclusive growth.

- Lead technical design within OSS, aligning projects with Vodafone strategy and customer requirements
- Evaluate new network and IT technologies for fit and sustainable support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions and perform lab testing and PoC validation
- Lead project deliveries, manage customer expectations, and coordinate third-party suppliers
- Provide internal reporting and management within OSS




- Ensure deliveries are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Support live deployments as required and ensure post-deployment support
- Produce high-quality IT specifications and contribute to business cases, impact assessments, and RFPs
- Share knowledge and provide leadership to cross-functional development and problem-solving teams

Responsabilità

- Knowledge and technical delivery experience of GIS platform & application design
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
- Experience with ESRI Enterprise
- Competent understanding of compute platforms such as GCP, Linux, and Kubernetes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- BSc level degree or higher in IT or engineering
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in telecommunications in a development/delivery role
