Network Technician (Freelance | Onsite IT Support) Job DescriptionWe are looking for Network Technicians to provide onsite IT and network support at the locations of a leading international retail client. This is a freelance, on-demand opportunity. Assignments will be allocated based on your geographic location and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite IT and network support at customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues.
- Install and replace routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points, and other IT equipment.
- Perform hardware upgrades and break/fix support.
- Complete service reports and update support tickets after each intervention.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in onsite IT support or network support.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN.
- Experience with Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet,



or equivalent vendors.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Fluent in Italian.
- Good command of English (mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or an equivalent networking certification.
- Experience providing IT support for retail stores or retail environments.
