The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome is holding an international public competition for the position of Assistant Principal Second Violin and Section Violin. This competition is based on candidates' degrees, credentials, and examination results. The selected candidates will be hired under an open-ended contract. There are two positions available: one for Assistant Principal Second Violin, which includes obligations to serve as Principal Second Violin and tutti, and one for Section Violin. The Assistant Principal position is classified at level 4 of the artistic area according to the national collective bargaining agreement, with a minimum gross annual salary of €56,000. The Section Violin position is also classified at level 4, with a minimum gross annual salary of €55,000. The application deadline is August 2, 2026.
