YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Application Engineer, the candidate will play a key role in defining specifications for new Discrete and Intelligent Power Modules devices (based on SiC and GaN MOSFET technologies, as well as Silicon IGBT and MOSFET) in close collaboration with the Marketing team.

YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Application Engineer, the candidate will play a key role in defining specifications for new Discrete and Intelligent Power Modules devices (based on SiC and GaN MOSFET technologies, as well as Silicon IGBT and MOSFET) in close collaboration with the Marketing team.
Key application areas include Industrial and Appliance Motion Control, On-board Chargers, and Energy Management Systems.
The candidate will take full ownership of product development, from initial definition through to comprehensive application testing.
This role involves developing system and architecture expertise to define new product features and specifications.
The candidate will validate electrical parameters and ensure full in-application functionality of new products, supported by the creation of dedicated test boards.
Additionally, he will provide strong technical support to Marketing and Sales during product promotion and act as the primary technical interface with customers during design-in and in case of returns.
Will also contribute to promoting ST solutions by developing promotional materials, including demo boards, simulation tools, and technical documentation.The expected salary range for this position is € 41.000 – €48.000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role. In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria,
including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
