To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer with a passion for technology and the design of complex solutions.
Main Responsibilities
3D mechanical design of frames, assemblies and sub-assemblies for AGVs and automated handling systems.
Modelling and drafting of components, including fabricated structures, moving parts, welded and machined structures.
Preparation of manufacturing drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
Support for mechanical integration with electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems.
Collaboration with automation and production teams to optimise manufacturability and assembly.
Review and control of technical documentation.
Participation in prototyping, assembly and testing activities.
Technical analysis of non-conformities and proposal of improvement solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or technical diploma.

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the AGV sector; alternatively in intralogistics or automation.
Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor, and of the design of fabricated structures and mechanical parts.
Ability to create complex assemblies and complete manufacturing drawings with tolerances and finishes.
Good knowledge of metallic materials, surface treatments, tolerances and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of mechanical and safety standards.
Familiarity with FEM analysis and structural calculations will be considered an advantage.
Teamwork attitude, accuracy and initiative.
Knowledge of technical English, including reading drawings and specifications.
