In this role you will lead the site’s environmental compliance strategy across projects and operations, ensuring alignment with legislation, corporate standards, and permits. You will develop and maintain the Site Environmental Management System and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address environmental risks, Seveso-related aspects, and MAPP/SMS requirements. You will support sustainable site development and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance, reporting, and governance.

- Ensure environmental compliance with legislation, standards, and permits
- Manage environmental permits, authorizations, and regulatory obligations
- Interface with environmental authorities and coordinate inspections and audits
- Develop and maintain Site Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and manage waste, air emissions, and monitoring




- Support environmental risk assessments and Seveso-related activities within MAPP/SMS
- Provide environmental support to engineering projects from design to start-up
- Promote Best Available Techniques and environmental risk reduction
- Support sustainability initiatives, ESG reporting, and resource efficiency
- Participate in audits and manage CAPA related to environmental findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Facilities, Corporate HSE)
- Proven experience in environmental xlwpduy management within pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Italian environmental legislation and permitting processes (D.Lgs.152/2006)
- Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Knowledge of Seveso legislation related to Major Accident Prevention (advantage)
