Overview As a Tunnel Engineer at Arup in Milan, you contribute to a varied portfolio of global infrastructure projects by delivering innovative tunnel design within a multidisciplinary team. You own design packages and interface directly with clients, coordinating with engineers from different disciplines. You will produce reports, perform design calculations, and support deliverables with rigorous analysis. This role offers opportunities to work on high?speed rail, metro systems, and energy projects, combining technical challenge with sustainable impact. Responsibilities Up to 5 years geotechnical and tunnelling design experience in a consultancy environment
Strong engineering skills and knowledge
Proven ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in Italian and English
Publication in journals and conferences encouraged
