ppHyatt Thompson Rome is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic bBarman /b to join our Food Beverage team. /p pThis role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for mixology and lifestyle service, able to deliver engaging guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and consistency. The Barman works closely with the bar and outlet teams, contributing to the overall success of the hotel and guest satisfaction. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Bar Operations Service /h3 ul liWelcome guests and provide a warm, engaging, and professional bar experience /li liPrepare and serve beverages according to established recipes, standards, and procedures /li liTake beverage orders and apply upselling techniques when appropriate /li liPresent menus, answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations on beverages and pairings /li liClear and reset bar counters and service areas throughout operations /li liEnsure full readiness of the bar, including mise en place, cleanliness, and organization /li /ul h3Beverage Knowledge Quality /h3 ul liDemonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and beverage trends /li liSupport the creation and development of cocktail menus and seasonal offerings /li liEnsure compliance with hygiene, safety,



and food handling standards /li liBe fully conversant with the Micros system and support accurate order processing /li /ul h3Guest Experience /h3 ul liMaintain positive guest and colleague interactions at all times /li liDeliver attentive, personalized service aligned with Hyatt brand standards /li liSupport high-volume service periods, events, and special occasions /li liContribute to a vibrant, lifestyle-driven bar atmosphere /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liMinimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Barman in a quality or luxury hospitality environment /li liSolid background in high-demand, fast-paced operations /li liStrong mixology skills and mastery of classic cocktails /li liGood knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards /li liExcellent personal presentation and communication skills /li liAbility to perform under pressure while maintaining composure /li liFluent in English and Italian; knowledge of French is a strong plus /li liDiploma in Hospitality or related field preferred /li /ul h3What You Will Do /h3 pReporting to the bBar Manager /b, you will support daily bar operations with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional beverage service and memorable guest experiences across all outlets. /p h3Occupational Health Safety /h3 ul liMaintain a safe working environment in compliance with local laws and hotel policies /li liFollow safety procedures, hazard awareness, and proper equipment usage /li liReport incidents, near-misses, and hazards promptly /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
