Are you an HSE professional looking to step up into a strategic corporate coordination role? At Arkad , we are looking for a Corporate HSE Coordinator to join our Business Support function based in Milan, Italy .
In this role, you will raise the bar for our corporate HSE culture. You will move beyond localized operations to oversee framework compliance, track high-level corporate metrics, coordinate international certification schemes, and act as a central pillar for our global QHSSE strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Framework & Compliance: Coordinate corporate compliance with HSE standards, legal regulations, and guidelines across the organization. Track, assess, and report on emerging international HSE trends and related legislation.
- Certification Scheme Ownership: Lead the implementation, review, and maintenance of corporate HSE certification schemes, specifically focusing on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- KPI Management & Performance: Collect, analyze, and report on corporate HSE performance using established organizational KPIs. Cooperate with cross-functional leaders to continuously improve value-chain performance.
- Audit & Inspection Coordination: Lead and coordinate internal and external HSE audits and inspection processes in collaboration with dedicated corporate functions, statutory auditors, and legal bodies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with internal functional directors and external stakeholders—including clients, suppliers, local authorities, and HSE consultants—to raise awareness, report efforts,
and secure commitment.
- Risk Management & Mitigation: Drive effective corporate risk management, monitor findings, and track the prompt closure of corrective actions within the line business.
- Incident Investigation & Programs: Oversee and guide the incident investigation process within the organization. Deliver periodical corporate HSE programs and behavioral initiatives aligned with the company's macro QHSSE strategy.
- Training & Strategy Alignment: Coordinate the corporate organization and execution of standardized HSE training programs across multiple business units.
Your Profile:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical preferred) or a strong Technical Degree background.
- Experience: Upgraded to 3–5+ years of solid experience in HSE coordination or specialist roles within corporate structures or complex industrial environments (elevating the baseline 1–3 years requirement).
- Certifications: Must hold recognized HSE certifications for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 . Qualified OHS professional certification according to Italian law (or globally recognized equivalent schemes like NEBOSH or IOSH) is mandatory.
- Languages: Fully fluent in written and spoken Italian and English . Knowledge of French is considered a distinct professional plus.
- Core Competencies: A flexible, open-minded, problem-solving mentality with strong soft skills required to interface with multicultural disciplines and align with corporate operational priorities.
Salary Range: 38k-45k Euros
