This is a fully remote position that requires a high degree of technical curiosity and a disciplined approach to development. As an Associate Frontend Engineer, you will work alongside our analysts and senior principals to build the digital components that bring our financial findings to life.
You will not just be writing code for its own sake: you will be building the windows through which our clients see their own data.
The work involves a mix of rapid prototyping for specific client engagements and the maintenance of our internal toolkit. You will be part of a distributed team that prioritizes clear communication and logical problem solving over rigid hierarchy.
What You Will Be
Doing
Developing and maintaining interactive web interfaces that visualize complex financial datasets for our major Italian partner.
Translating static economic models and spreadsheets into responsive, functional web components.
Collaborating with senior developers to implement clean, well documented code in a remote environment.
Ensuring that data visualizations accurately represent the underlying financial logic without adding unnecessary complexity.
Participating in regular code reviews to ensure consistency and reliability across our internal tools.
Testing interfaces for usability and performance to ensure they remain functional when handling large volumes of financial information.
Working closely with the consulting team to understand the specific questions a client needs to answer.
Troubleshooting technical issues and refining existing features based on feedback from the principals.
What You
Bring A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical project experience).
Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular through coursework or personal projects.
A genuine interest in how businesses work and a desire to understand the financial logic behind the software you build.
The ability to explain technical concepts to non technical team members in plain English.
A disciplined approach to work with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfort working in a fully remote setting and managing your own schedule effectively.
An investigative mindset that enjoys looking under the hood to find out why a system or piece of code is not performing as expected.
