Experteer OverviewIn this role you will drive optics transceivers sourcing and supplier collaboration to align with Cisco's hardware roadmap. You will bridge engineering and suppliers to optimize supply, cost, and delivery across complex programs. You will shape sourcing strategy, assess risks, and develop alternate technical solutions to meet business needs. This role offers influence across multiple locations and business units, with a focus on enabling scalable, reliable optics supply while advancing Cisco's innovation agenda.
Benefits Lead roadmap reviews between engineering and suppliers to align on requirements and solutions
Collaborate with business units to map long?term needs to supply base offerings
Implement sourcing decisions, conduct risk assessment/mitigation, and develop alternate technical solutions
Manage large, complex programs across multiple locations and business units
Proactively resolve program issues and coordinate with partners to maintain supply continuity and project progress
Drive cross?functional negotiations to secure favorable cost and delivery terms
Provide industry knowledge on optics transceivers fabrication technologies and market trends
Responsibilities MS or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience
Technical knowledge of optics transceivers for single and multi?mode applications
Deep knowledge of optics transceivers ecosystem components (Laser, PD, TIA; Driver, CDR/DSPs)
Proficiency in negotiation to secure competitive advantages and high customer satisfaction
