On behalf of an important reality that operates in the space field, we are looking for a User Ground Segment System Engineer.

Qualifications

-

- Master’s degree or comparable in Computer Engineering;

- Definition and justification of User Ground Segment architecture, from concept to detailed design phase;

- Definition and control of User Ground Segment technical interfaces, internal and external;

- Definition and control of User Ground Segment software technical budget and margins;

- Professional experience of at least five years in Ground Segment engineering projects for space systems, in Phase C/D as mandatory;

- Professional experience of at least five years in definition and design of S/S for EO systems for institutional and/or commercial customers;





- Strong competences in virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g. VMWare), including database virtualization;

- Knowledge of secure network architectures, vulnerability testing, threat modeling;

- Experience in the definition, management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of DOORS;

- Proven capability to define G/S design through model‑based methods, techniques and tools (e.g. SysML, UML);

- Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes and ground system software life cycles;

- Knowledge of relevant ECSS standards;

- Fluency in both spoken and written (Business) English; Italian skills are desirable. xysqume

Tasks

-

- Analysis of the Qualification data package provided by the UGS SW supplier;

- Support to the GS AIV team for the UGS Integration activities.
