About the Role

The Vice President of Original Productions is a pivotal leadership role within Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology (DE&E; Technology), responsible for shaping the strategic vision and execution of original productions in Italy. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive innovation, inspire teams, and ensure alignment with Disney's storytelling and technological excellence. As a key executive, you will oversee high-impact projects, manage diverse teams, and contribute to the company's legacy of delivering scalable, efficient, and creative content.

Responsibilities

The Vice President of Original Productions will be accountable for the financial performance and strategic direction of the production function, leading multiple teams and senior managers, ensuring alignment with Disney's values and business goals, and driving innovative solutions while maintaining Disney's reputation for excellence in original programming.

- Establish a vision and strategy aligned with business goals, connecting stakeholders and building strong teams.
- Define strategies, expectations, and priorities to ensure team actions align with the company's success.
- Provide continuous coaching and feedback to build trust and help individuals reach their highest potential.

Required Qualifications

- Proven ability to envision future possibilities and create breakthrough strategies.
- Strong business insight with the ability to apply market knowledge to advance goals.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire individual and business success.
- Proficiency in managing resources and building strong teams.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to resolve production challenges.
- Extensive experience in television production deal‐making at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of contractual key terms and conditions for production and co‐production agreements.
- Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 7 years in management roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven success at a management level within creative production.
- Extensive knowledge of commissioning and greenlight processes. xysqume
