We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free. /p h3About the Role /h3 pWe are currently offering a position as Operations Team Leader to join our team in our Rome Office. /p h3Job profile /h3 ul liResponsible for the team in charge of JTB operations, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance /li liFoster team engagement, mutual understanding, and open communication to create a collaborative and supportive work environment /li liCoordinate daily operations to ensure high quality services for the end customers,
meeting Japan market’s expectations /li liPlan and organize in advance operational activities and follow up on seasonal/monthly/weekly basis after the regular check of sales situation /li liMaximize company margins by managing supplier costs and optimizing revenue /li liHandle complaints generated by the team, ensuring prompt and effective resolution /li liMaintain, Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness, securing alignment to compliance standards in the system /li liManage any relevant task/project related to the operational business, in close cooperation with the Team Manager /li liCommunicate with Japan Sales to ensure all operational tasks are handled on time and within deadlines /li liCollaborate with other departments to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction /li /ul h3Key Activities /h3 ul liManage timelines and deadlines related to assignments /li liAssign and distribute workload among team members to optimize efficiency and productivity /li liEnsure the best margin possible by monitoring team’s performance /li liClose communication with Sales offices, securing each Team member advises sales about any potential problems with the itinerary or services /li liClose communication with suppliers in a way both sides are satisfied /li liMonitor and evaluate team performance,
providing regular feedback and coaching /liliAssist in training and onboarding new team members /li liCollect and analyze all the business related statistics /li liPrepare and present reports on team performance and operational metrics to Team Manager /li liMonitor the deposit accounts for attractions to ensure the team can successfully book them /li liCollaborate with Finance Team to adjust any Invoice discrepancies in the system /li liContribute to Tarif yearly maintenance and ensure consistency with contracts and supplier invoicing /li /ul h3Reporting structures and key relationships /h3 ul liReporting to the Manager /li liClosely work with external suppliers /li liDaily interaction with Planning, Customer Service, Sales and all departments /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liProven experience in operations management (experience in Tourism is a plus) /li liKnowledge of the business area, clients and suppliers /li liUnderstanding of Japanese culture and expectations /li liGood bJapanese, English and Italian speaking capability /b /li liAbility to plan, prioritize, and execute operational activities. /li liStrategic mindset with a focus on efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. /li /ul h3What We Offer: /h3 ul liOpportunity to work in an international environment. /li liDiverse Inclusive culture. /li liLearning and training opportunities for growth. /li liDedicated Employee Engagement Activities. /li liFlexible Hybrid Working. /li liCompensation Range (Annual Gross Salary): €40.000 - €45.000 /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
