ph3Careers | Front Office /h3pFull Time /ph3Night Manager /h3h3Purpose of Position /h3pO'Two Hotels is seeking a responsible and composed Night Manager to lead overnight operations across Terra by O'Two and Mar by O'Two.
This role carries the keys to the quiet hours: guest care, safety, service recovery, handovers, emergency response and operational control while the broader leadership team is off?site.
/ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliLead the overnight operation and act as manager on duty during night shifts.
/liliOversee late arrivals, early departures, guest requests, complaints, incidents and service recovery.
/liliSupport night audit procedures, revenue checks, handovers and system accuracy.
/liliCoordinate with Security, Housekeeping, Room Service, Maintenance and Front Office during overnight hours.
/liliEnsure guest safety, hotel security, emergency procedures and quiet-hour standards are maintained.
/liliConduct property walks and identify presentation, maintenance, security or operational concerns.
/liliPrepare clear morning handovers for management and relevant departments.
/liliCoach and support overnight team members to deliver professional service with confidence.
/li /ulh3Essential /h3ulliMinimum 3 years' front office or night management experience, including manager-on-duty responsibility.
/liliMust currently hold a similar role within a 4-star luxury or 5-star luxury hotel environment.
/liliProtel PMS experience is essential.
/liliStrong night audit, cashiering,



guest recovery and emergency response experience.
/liliAble to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
/liliMust be eligible to work in South Africa.
/li /ulh3Preferred /h3ulliExperience in an international or internationally branded hotel environment will be highly advantageous.
/liliFirst aid, fire-life-safety or hotel pre-opening experience will be advantageous.
/li /ulh3Key Competencies Skills /h3ulliCalm, mature and decisive during overnight operations.
/liliStrong sense of ownership and accountability.
/liliExcellent handover, reporting and follow-up discipline.
/liliGuest-focused with good recovery instincts.
/liliAble to protect standards when fewer leaders are present.
