/p /brh3About The Role /h3 /brpWe're looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Wallet team, which owns critical services in our product.
The team is responsible for players' wallets, bet placement, settlements, deposits and withdrawals, and other critical backend services.
We're looking for engineers with strong backend fundamentals and experience building reliable, high?load systems with complex business logic.
/p /brh3What You'll Do /h3 /brul /brliTake full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support /li /brliDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high?performance backend services using Python and Django, including asynchronous components where applicable /li /brliWrite unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices /li /brliEstimate software development effort for features and long?term technical initiatives /li /brliCollaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to turn requirements into well?defined technical solutions /li /brliParticipate in code reviews, help raise engineering quality,
and contribute to technical decisions /li /br /ul /brh3What We're Looking For /h3 /brul /brliAt least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language /li /brliStrong experience building production backend systems with Django and asynchronous python (asyncio) /li /brliStrong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and concurrency /li /brliExperience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions /li /brliHands?on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), including writing complex SQL queries, schema design, migrations, performance tuning /li /brliExperience with Redis for caching and state management in distributed systems /li /brliStrong understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring /li /brliWillingness to participate in on?call rotations /li /br /ul /brh3Nice To Have /h3 /brul /brliExperience with Go /li /brliProduction experience with Apache Kafka /li /brliPrior experience working with systems supporting 1M+ users /li /brliExperience in writing automated tests, measuring test coverage, and defining test automation strategies /li /brliExperience in sports/betting industries /li /br /ul /brpWe Are a Multinational Company With Our Headquarters Based In Philadelphia, And Offices In New York, Austin, And Sofia, Bulgaria.
