Gielle Informatica Srl, an IT consulting company with over 40 years of experience in ICT recruitment and selection, is looking for the following professional profile on behalf of one of its clients:
API Management Migration Expert
Full remote
We seek an experienced Technical expert with skills in the migration of an
API Management Platform.
We are evaluating the involvement of an external specialist for an enterprise API Management migration project.
The ideal profile should have hands-on experience in API Management and API Gateway projects, preferably involving platforms such as Gravitee, TIBCO Mashery, Apigee, Kong, WSO2, MuleSoft Anypoint, or similar technologies.
The expected activities include: API inventory analysis, source configuration assessment, mapping of API gateway policies and plans, migration of API definitions, application/consumer configuration, routing setup, security policy configuration, request/response transformation analysis, rate limit and quota mapping, troubleshooting, documentation, and support to test and validation activities.
Experience with REST APIs, protocols, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, API keys, headers, payload transformation, JSON/YAML configuration, Scripting,



and API traffic troubleshooting is also required. Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, observability tools, and enterprise networking/security concepts would be considered a plus.
We are looking for a profile able not only to execute technical tasks, but also to analyze migration issues, classify API complexity, document findings, highlight risks, support remediation activities, and provide clear status updates.

The daily rate will be agreed based on the candidate's experience and technical skills.
