Colere **** by Cloud 7 is a charming mountain village renowned for its unspoiled landscapes, and year-round appeal. The destination offers a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with skiing, hiking, and climbing, as well as a retreat for those seeking tranquillity. Within this stunning setting, the Colere **** by Cloud 7 features 28 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, offering a blend of comfort and contemporary alpine style.
Guests will enjoy a wellness center dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation, along with the variety of refined hospitality in lounge bar & ski, a la carte and self-service restaurants, the hotel embodies the perfect balance of adventure, wellness, and Italian charm.
Location
Colere **** by Cloud 7 is in the Italian Alps, in the mountain village of Colere , offering a secluded alpine setting with access to major international gateways. Orio al Affidabile Airport (BGY) is approximately 55 km away, Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is around 160 km from the property.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, back-of-house, and service areas.
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment efficiently.
Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment; report shortages or maintenance needs.
Support the kitchen team by preparing workstations and basic ingredients as needed.
Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling and waste management procedures.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring correct handling of goods.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, reporting hazards or accidents promptly.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Previous experience as a steward or similar role in 4-star or 5-star hotels is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and HACCP.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and reliability.
Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic English required; Italian is an advantage.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This position is available for an immediate start and constitutes an urgent hire.
This is a fixed-term seasonal contract for a duration of 4 months during the Summer season.
Candidates available to start immediately or at short notice will be given priority consideration.
Applicants who are not citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) must already hold a valid Italian residence permit and work authorisation permitting employment in Italy at the time of application.
Unfortunately, visa sponsorship or work permit applications cannot be supported for this position.
