What you'll do:
Contribute to the successful execution of sell?side, buy?side and partnership transactions by working on the whole spectrum from inception to closing.
Build and maintain integrated financial models for M&A;, project valuation and project finance purposes, including sensitivity analyses and scenario assessments.
Analyse and roll?out the strategic entry in new geographical markets and the development of new business models (solar I&C;, BESS, floating offshore).
Contribute to the analysis of project economics and investment returns, supporting decision?making across development, construction and operational phases.
Support the structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions, refinancing processes and other debt?raising activities.
Based in Milan with the possibility of hybrid remote working; report to the Chief Investment Officer.
Requirements
Excellent academic background with a degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management Engineering (degrees in STEM are also suitable if accompanied with background in economics or finance).
Initial work experience (ideally up to 2 years) within consulting, private equity, infrastructure funds, investment banking/M&A;, or corporate M&A; or project finance functions, with a desirable focus in the energy/renewables business.
Financial modelling experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English. Another European language would be a plus.
Enthusiasm and self?motivation, including a willingness to take on new challenges and broad responsibilities.
Ability to prioritise several concurrent tasks in a fast?paced environment and prove resilient in the face of challenges and disappointments.
