KNAPP Italia is looking for a Resident Team Leader
Become part of our resident team at the main logistics center of one of our customers – the world-wide leader in the field of eye wear located in Sedico (BL). It is your role together with your team to guarantee the availability of our customers plant and thereby ensure customer satisfaction. You achieve this goal by providing and coordinating a good mix of reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. All our team members are part of our continuous improvement process. To ensure the availability of the site to our customer, our technicians work in alternating shifts which typically include one night shift per month.
Roles and responsibilities:
It is your task to:




Coordinate the activities of your team of electromechanical technicians and any external companies in charge of carrying out the repairs
Provide assistance in the maintenance activities of the installed system
Ensure that all spare parts related issues are addressed quickly and efficiently
Ensure that every activity of the technical team is documented on the CMMS
Provide the customer an effective and efficient response according to the "right first time" approach together with your team of technicians
Participate in periodic meetings with the customer and other team leaders
Provide maintenance support in the event of an emergency due to breakdown or following problems with the installed systems
Actively participate with the customer in issue management and the internal escalation process for all aspects related to maintenance
Guarantee an optimal level of performance by checking on-site maintenance activities, the speed of response and the quality of the repair as well as the standards of execution of the works
Requirements for applicants
You have a technical diploma in electrics, electronical engineering, mechanics, mechanical engineering, IT or automation
You are experienced in carrying out routine maintenance on systems and appliances as well as taking care of the management and maintenance of robotic and automation systems
You are able to read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams




You have knowledge in the pneumatic / hydraulic field as well as of sensor technology in industrial automation
You are able to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and malfunctions and feel comfortable to perform the necessary interventions to restore the functionality of worn, faulty or malfunctioning components
You know how to install and commission mechatronic components and systems
You are keen to optimize systems, machines and plants using automated control tools
Ideally, you have gained experience in the use of CMMS
You have an understanding of the overall effectiveness of equipment (OEE) and its performance metrics
You have previous experience in managing a team and the ability to work under pressure and to motivate and encourage your team by promoting a healthy and collaborative environment are part of your work and leadership style
You are able to communicate in the Italian language and in English
