ppAs a Data Centre Solutions Engineer, you bridge hyperscale client needs with STACK's design and delivery teams to create resilient, scalable, and energy-efficient cooling and mechanical solutions.
You guide early design through commissioning, ensuring alignment with STACK standards and long-term operations.
You'll influence major projects across EMEA and help deliver mission-critical infrastructure for leading digital platforms.
You join a multidisciplinary group focused on practical, robust engineering that supports high availability and performance.
/pulliAct as Solutions Engineering partner to hyperscale and strategic clients, translating technical and business requirements into actionable inputs /liliLead client and internal workshops, design intent sessions, and reviews with clear communication to diverse stakeholders /liliShape practical, scalable cooling and mechanical solutions balancing client needs with STACK standards and long-term performance /liliProvide expertise across HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, heat rejection, plantrooms, pipework, pumps, valves, containment and airflow management /liliReview cooling strategies, thermal performance and CFD analyses to support resilient, energy-efficient designs /liliSupport commissioning, performance validation and operational acceptance of mechanical and cooling infrastructure /liliAct as mechanical engineering authority while coordinating with Electrical, CSA, Controls, Fire Protection, Security, ICT systems /liliIdentify and address interface risks and optimisation opportunities across building systems /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated solutions across the project lifecycle /liliReview design docs, specs, calculations, deviations for alignment with client requirements and system integration /liliIdentify risks and gaps early,



provide recommendations and support change control /liliAssist project teams by resolving technical queries and ensuring customer requirements and compliance /liliCoordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams for buildable, operational solutions /liliSupport testing, commissioning and handover to confirm performance against criteria /liliPrepare technical assessments, gap analyses and recommendations for stakeholders /liliContribute feedback to improve STACK reference designs and engineering standards /liliRepresent STACK at client meetings, project sites and technical reviews across EMEA (up to 25% travel) /liliStrong mechanical engineering experience in hyperscale data centres or mission-critical facilities /liliIn-depth knowledge of data centre cooling and mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, heat rejection, pumps, valves, pipework, containment, BMS interfaces) /liliAbility to evaluate decisions across disciplines for resilience, maintainability and asset performance /liliUnderstanding of integrated data centre systems and interactions between mechanical, electrical and controls /liliExperience across design development, construction, commissioning and handover (RIBA Stages 2-5 or similar) /liliExperience reviewing Basis of Design documents, specs, thermal modelling and CFD /liliGood understanding of cooling resilience, redundancy, scalability, energy efficiency, PUE and performance /liliExperience supporting commissioning and performance validation is desirable /liliStrong customer-facing and stakeholder management, ability to lead workshops and explain complex decisions /liliSound technical judgment, analytical skills and structured risk management approach /liliAbility to collaborate across Development, Design Engineering, Delivery and Operations while owning customer requirements /liliDegree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field; professional accreditation/desirable /liliExcellent written and verbal English; experience in European markets advantageous /li /ulpAs a Data Centre Solutions Engineer, you bridge hyperscale client needs with STACK's design and delivery teams to create resilient, scalable... /p /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
