/p h3Legal Counsel /h3 h3Rome, Italy /h3 pIf you are looking for a challenging in-house Legal Counsel role at the Italian subsidiary of a leading multinational group operating in the IT, telecommunications and renewable energy products sectors, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.

/p pThe selected candidate will join Huawei Italy's Legal Department and will report directly to the Head of Legal.
The Legal Counsel will provide practical, business-oriented legal support across the company's Italian operations, with a particular focus on IT/TMT contracting, corporate matters and day?to?day legal advice to business stakeholders.
/p h3Main Responsibilities: /h3 ul lipDraft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and operational agreements in English and Italian, including distribution, sales, supply, services, procurement, marketing, partnership, NDA, framework and finance?related agreements, with a strong focus on the ICT, telecommunications and renewable energy products sectors.
/p /li lipProvide legal support on IT/TMT transactions and contracting models, working closely with sales, procurement, delivery, finance and other internal stakeholders to enable compliant and efficient business execution.
/p /li lipSupport corporate and governance matters for the Italian subsidiary, including corporate documentation, powers of attorney, board/shareholder?related matters, internal approvals and implementation of group policies at local level.
/p /li lipAdvise on commercial, civil law,



business law and regulatory matters arising from the company's daily operations, including the legal impact of legislative and regulatory developments relevant to IT, telecoms and technology products.
/p /li lipPrepare, update and review official documents, internal policies, templates, legal opinions, awareness materials and management briefings.
/p /li lipSupport compliance activities, including matters relating to Legislative Decree ********, anti?bribery, competition law, trade secrets protection, GDPR and internal compliance policies.
/p /li lipContribute to cross?functional projects requiring legal input, including projects with high visibility before local management and, where relevant, European or group?level stakeholders.
/p /li lipProvide legal support to other European platforms or group functions as needed.
/p /li lipDevelop a sound understanding of complex and innovative business models, providing proactive, pragmatic and solution?oriented legal advice.
/p /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul lipLaw degree /p /li lipAdmission to the Italian Bar shall be considered a plus.
/p /li lipMinimum 2-3 years of professional experience in?house or at a law firm, preferably with exposure to IT/TMT, technology contracting, commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, competition, public law/regulatory or public procurement matters.
/p /li lipSolid legal background in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate law, civil and business law, and compliance.
Experience with litigation, tender contracts in private or public environments, competition law, administrative law, public contracts or labour law shall be considered a plus.
/p /li lipExperience in export control, sanctions, customs compliance or trade compliance shall be considered a plus.
/p /li lipExcellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills, combined with strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate legal advice into practical business solutions.
/p /li lipExcellent fluency in written and spoken English is required.
The candidate must be able to draft, negotiate and communicate confidently in English in an international corporate environment.
/p /li lipExcellent fluency in written and spoken Italian is required.




/p /li lipStrong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, accountability and the ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and management.
/p /li lipAbility to manage legal issues and business projects independently, prioritize effectively and work in a fast?paced multinational environment.

The compensation package can be up to €60,000 gross per year, plus a performance?based premio up to 2 additional monthly salary.
