We are supporting a fast-growing international technology company operating at the intersection of SaaS, logistics and global trade with the appointment of an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager based in Milan.

This is a commercially focused account-management role with ownership of an established portfolio of B2B customers using a technology-led logistics platform. The objective is to retain and grow those relationships by increasing product adoption, identifying new use cases and converting opportunities into measurable revenue growth.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in B2B SaaS account management or customer success. Candidates from closely related digital-platform businesses may also be considered where they can demonstrate direct ownership of an existing B2B portfolio, measurable account growth and experience managing complex client and operational situations.
This is not a pure new-business role or a traditional client-servicing position. The level of appointment will depend on the candidate's experience, portfolio complexity and commercial track record.
Key responsibilities
· Own and develop an established portfolio of B2B customers.
· Deliver measurable revenue growth through retention, renewals, upselling and cross-selling.
· Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and develop multiple contacts across each account.
· Use commercial discovery to understand client priorities, competing platforms, internal tools and additional use cases.
· Monitor account health, product adoption, commercial performance and customer success criteria.
· Lead client onboarding, account planning and quarterly business reviews.
· Work closely with Operations, Product, Sales and technical teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
· Manage escalations with a commercial mindset while maintaining client confidence.
· Maintain accurate client, opportunity and pipeline data in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
Profile required
· At least three years' experience in B2B SaaS account management, customer success or a closely related technology-led digital-platform environment.
· Direct ownership of an existing B2B customer portfolio and accountability for its commercial performance.
· A proven track record in retention, renewals, upselling, cross-selling and revenue growth.
· Clear examples of personally increasing account value through commercial actions rather than relying solely on organic customer growth.
· Strong commercial discovery, account-planning and stakeholder-management skills.
· Confidence working with senior decision-makers and coordinating cross-functional internal teams.
· A commercially driven and analytical approach, with the ability to use client and performance data to prioritise opportunities.
· Professional fluency in Italian and English.
· Eligibility to work in Italy and availability to work regularly from the Milan office.
· Experience in logistics technology, supply-chain software, digital freight or another operationally complex platform would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Senior Account Manager level: Candidates considered at this level should demonstrate ownership of larger or more complex accounts, strong senior-stakeholder exposure and a consistent record of delivering material portfolio growth.
Compensation
A competitive base salary aligned with the Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level, together with a performance-related premio. xrdbqlu The final level and package will depend on experience and track record.
