TotalEnergies Marketing Italia Spa, the new corporate name of Total Italia Spa as of September 1, ****, has been present in Italy for over sixty years and oversees all distribution activities for lubricants, specialty fluids and solvents, fuels (aviation and motorsport), and LNG.
Activités
The Technical Field Engineer provides specialized technical expertise to support the Industrial segment, mainly in Cement and Materials production (e.g. ceramic tiles). The role is strongly field?oriented and focused on diagnostics, customer support and continuous improvement, working closely with customers, Sales and TotalEnergies Lubrifiants, in line with quality, safety and environmental standards.
Key Activities
Visit customers' industrial sites (mainly cement and ceramic tile production facilities) and operate autonomously to assess the condition of key equipment (e.g. ball mills, kilns).
Perform condition?based and predictive maintenance activities using vibration analysis and other non?destructive testing techniques (e.g. thermography, video endoscopy).
Monitor critical equipment through remote monitoring tools and support the maintenance of these tools.
Progressively take ownership of diagnostics, root cause analysis and technical recommendations. Prepare and issue clear, structured technical reports with practical and actionable recommendations.
Ensure post?sales technical support and manage customer relationships, including analysis of operations and mechanical systems and preparation of lubrication plans.
Provide technical support to the sales team and to customers for industrial lubricants, documentation and technical issues, including customer complaints.
Contribute to problem?solving methodologies and manage non?routine technical issues. Support improvement and modification projects by integrating technical and commercial aspects.
Collaborate with TotalEnergies Lubrifiants in the development and implementation of new products, through market analysis, laboratory tests and on?site trials and validation, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
Contribute to technical training and communication activities in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
Profil du candidat
Technical degree or diploma.
Based in Central/Northern Italy – no relocation to Milan required.
Knowledge of lubricants applications and condition monitoring techniques.
Availability to travel frequently (3–4 days per week) across Italy.
3–5 years of experience in the lubricants industry or a comparable industrial sector is highly valued.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Fluent in Italian and English.
ISO ******* / ISO ******* certification is a plus.
