/p pAs Automation Engineer at Novo Nordisk Anagni, you will design, implement and optimise automation systems that strengthen production performance, ensure compliance and support our ambition to deliver for patients.
/p h3Your new role /h3 h3Day-to-day, Your Tasks Will Include /h3 ul liLeading automation integration for manufacturing systems, including aseptic formulation, filling equipment, facilities and utilities /li liCoordinating installation, commissioning, testing and validation activities, including FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ for automation and OT systems /li liSupporting the lifecycle of automation hardware, software and OT infrastructure, including backup, monitoring and robotic automation solutions /li liManaging project timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communication to support delivery against project objectives /li liTroubleshooting automation-related issues during start-up and ensuring systems meet technical, functional and regulatory requirements /li liIdentifying opportunities to replace manual processes with automation solutions that improve efficiency, scalability and reliability /li liCollaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors and international project stakeholders to align automation initiatives with site and business priorities /li /ul h3Your new department /h3 pIn Global Manufacturing Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products.

/p pYou will join the Automation Engineering team at our Anagni manufacturing site,
where automation is central to bringing complex production equipment, utilities and OT systems into reliable operation.
Working alongside project teams, site leadership, suppliers and colleagues across engineering and operations, you will help translate technical requirements into automation solutions that are robust, compliant and ready for GMP manufacturing.
/p h3Your Skills Qualifications /h3 pWe are looking for someone who combines strong technical automation expertise with project execution skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
You are structured, proactive and comfortable working independently while keeping stakeholders aligned.
/p pTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: /p ul liA master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant field /li liAt least 8 years of automation experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or aseptic manufacturing environments /li liStrong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, industrial automation protocols and OT architecture /li liExperience with MES and integration between manufacturing execution systems, OT layers and SCADA /li liGood knowledge of validation processes such as FAT, IQ/OQ and PQ, as well as GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5 /li liProject management experience, including timeline, budget,
resource and stakeholder coordinationStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments, suppliers and project teams /li /ul pExperience with robotic automation, machine learning, advanced programming techniques, automation infrastructure, backup or monitoring services would be an advantage.
