YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Buyer – Utilities & Sustainability to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Procurement and Sustainability functions by managing utilities sourcing activities, coordinating energy procurement strategies across multiple countries, and contributing to the company's decarbonization and ESG reporting initiatives.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in energy procurement, utilities commodity management, and sustainability projects. The role is hybrid in Milan .
Key Responsibilities
Manage utilities procurement activities across multiple countries, ensuring the implementation of the Scope 2 strategy.
Lead energy sourcing initiatives, including PPAs, Guarantees of Origin (GOs), utility contracts, and commodity portfolio management.
Monitor energy markets, support contract negotiations, risk management, and hedging activities.
Collaborate with HSE, Manufacturing, and Sustainability teams to support the decarbonization roadmap.
Support ESG reporting activities, including CSRD/ESRS disclosures, sustainability questionnaires (CDP, EcoVadis, DJSI), and external audits.
Manage sustainability requests from customers and investors, and contribute to supplier sustainability assessments and reporting.
Requirements




Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
Proven experience in Utilities Procurement, Energy Sourcing, Commodity Management, or Sustainability.
Knowledge of energy markets, PPAs, Guarantees of Origin, and ESG reporting frameworks.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in an international environment.
Fluent English; Italian is a plus but not mandatory.
WHAT WE OFFER
Pay for this role is between *****€ and ******€. Positioning within the range will be defined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. In the presence of profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a review may be evaluated with internal approval.
